I’m often in this area staying for work, and although my company provides meals at our hotel for me, I always go here for my curry fix. I’m here a… read more couple times a month & is really good value. The food is delicious can recommend the chicken chilli masala. Also the mushroom Bhaji is amazing. I’ve eaten here on my own many times. It’s always busy & the staff are excellent, so friendly & helpful. Yes, the decor could probably do with an overhaul but expect higher prices to match!
It’s clean & at the back there are notices to say that work is starting imminent. As another reviewer stated if you have mobility issues you may want to avoid. The toilet stairs are extra steep & could be an issue. But the food is great & I have also visited when not on business and my husband and I are in the area.
We stopped in for a quick dinner after a long day of touring and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We had vegetable samosas, lamb pasanda, lamb tikka with curry sauce and… read more cheese naan. My favorite was the lamb pasanda and it was my first time having it. Similar to a korma sauce but richer. I’ve seen comments about the staff not being friendly, but that wasn’t our experience at all — they couldn’t have been nicer! Free wifi, too, was a bonus for us as tourists.
We had the buffet, 15min overtime. (And only 9 Pounds!) No problem for the waiter. He was soo friendly and very kind! Definitly recommend this place!
We had a delicious curry here this week. We had prawn curries and an aubergine curry which were all delicious. The service was fantastic and we had a really nice… read more meal. Will definitely come again if we’re in the area. Thank you!
A small bit very sweet place. So good food and nice service. Took the tikka masala with prawns and naanbread and rice.

The decor is tired but there are signs saying a refurb is imminent! It didn’t matter as the food was delicious. I had just chicken tikka which was great and my husband had chicken jalfrezi keema naan and mushroom rice which he really enjoyed. I had some of the rice and naan and that was my opinion too. Well worth it and so reasonably priced well done all.
Welcomed into nice warm environment with a smile. We were advised there was seating at the back but chose to seat just opposite the bar, tables are close together but… read more not a hinderance. Did not have a starter but had some popadoms and chutneys and they were very nice. The vegetable curry was just as requested and the chilli chicken was madress spice level and just right. The Naan though, they were delicious ! Fresh and just nice. Overall a great experience, I would make a point of going back.
Although full as we attempted a ‘walk-in’ at 7.15pm they offered and found us a table within 30 minutes and, after the short pause in a nearby pub, we had… read more a very enjoyable meal . Good service and lovely tastes
We ended up having a few hours to kill waiting for our off peak tickets to be valid again in the evening, having arrived later at Paddington than planned. A… read more Trip Advisor search of restaurants near the station uncovered this pleasant Indian just up the road. I had the chicken dhansak, which is my benchmark dish when visiting a new place. It was up there with the best. My partner enjoyed his veggie biryani. Decor was a bit tired and when we arrived, they were very busy for such a small place but we didn’t have too long a wait. Would definitely recommend if you have time to kill, want a decent Indian and don’t want to stray far from the station.
Have been there a dozen times, never disappointed. Good service and solid classic dishes. Korma, tikka, and thali are my favorites. Good naan and raita to boot.
We had a dinner for two here, with an appetizer. The service was very fast and professional. The main courses were not too spicy, but full of flavor. Many people… read more queued for the restaurant, but they were able to get a table within 10 minutes.

The furniture and decor are tired but the food more than makes up for that. Reasonable prices. We are returning and would recommend.
Probably worth booking for peak times.
I really enjoyed this.
£25 for a Cobra, poppadoms, starter, balti and rice.
Good service, popular place, food hot and tasty. Well worth a try
The decor is a bit run down, but the food was superb. The chicken tikka masala had a very different flavor, slightly fruity, but amazing. Other dishes excellent too. Service… read more good. Good value. An excellent option in Paddington.
A tiny bit out of the way, and unassuming from outside, this place was a gem. They had a good variety, but not overwhelming. The staff were fast and friendly… read more and helpful. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. And the price was reasonable. Will definitely eat there again!
Portion was small and pricey with 10% service charged on top. Okay it’s Paddington so £40 for 2 (small) biryanis, a naan and 2 soft drinks is maybe the going… read more price.
The restaurant is tatty inside, paint missing on walls, dirty old ceiling tiles. In need of a good clean and refurb. Smells damp in the back. Had chicken biryani, it was not what a proper Indian biryani should be. It looked and tasted like a mildly spiced rice with some chicken breast chunks added. Would definitely not go back. Good thing is the location but there are lots of other restaurants arond.
